Chapter 9

• Lucifer pulled up in front of her apartment and she checked the time. It was six am and most of her neighbors would probably be asleep now, so there’s still time to escape being the topic of the week for the new week. She looked around before coming down and Lucifer came down right after her. She wondered what he was doing because he already dropped her at her apartment and coming with her to her room was weird. Not like they were an item or anything.
• She didn’t say anything and she led him inside before opening the door. One look at her apartment and she could tell that this wasn’t the way she left it. Someone had come in when she was out in the club last night. Since the door wasn’t broken or anything, she only had one name in mind. Jeremy. He had an extra key to her apartment and she never took it from him, she always believed that he would come back to her one day. Very stupid of her and she knew it too.
