Chapter 55

• Isabelle woke up that morning with a plan, she was going to Lucifer's office that morning and she was going to explain all that happened the previous night and Lucifer was going to listen to her.
• Throughout the night, she had thought of the situation and the problem on ground. Isabelle concluded that she was wrong, she was too reckless, she should never have gone to the dinner in the first place, but she also knew that Lucifer should have listened to her. She apologized she was truly sorry, she knew what she did was wrong but she could barely avoid it at the time, that was why she did it. Isabelle was just trying to repay a favor to Maria, if Lucifer would only listen to her then everything would be fine. Isabelle understood why he was angry, she would be angry too, but she frankly thought he was overreacting, all he had to do was listen to her, it was all a misunderstanding.
• Isabelle figured that it was night and that was the reason he was so angry, now that he had a good night rest, it would be much more easier to talk to him. Isabelle smiled in the mirror as she brought her white gown down. She looked official and sophisticated and that was the look she was finding.
