• "You need to look perfect today, just perfect," Annabeth said as she fussed with Isabelle's hair. Freda was also there as they prepared her for the date. It was annoying as it seemed like they were just really over reacting. It was too much for just a date, even if Lucifer was going to ask her to marry him, and she doubted that was going go happen.
• "Why do I need to look perfect? It's not like it's my wedding day," Isabelle grumbled as they did her makeup. She stood her ground that they should not hire professionals to do her makeup and hair as they had been ready to do that, Annabeth even brought up the fact that Lucifer had gotten professionals to do her hair and makeup for the charity ball, and so it seemed like he preferred the professional look. Isabelle had reminded her that it was a charity gala then, and it was public and that Lucifer was just taking her out for dinner, that she was being too serious over it. Freda and Annabeth had said it was okay and they were professionals themselves and they would make her look fabulous.
• "It is almost as important as your wedding day, it is day that the man that you love and the man that loves you, will tell you to spend the rest of his life with him," Annabeth said dreamily.
