Chapter 73

• "Let me go with you to see her your mother," Isabelle suggested that morning. She was with Lucifer in the room and they woke up together. He was already planning on going to his mother's place that morning. They had a very good night rest together, but Isabelle could see that Lucifer was clearly nervous of his meeting his mother and she could blame him for that, it was alright to be anxious since he had not seen her all his life. That was why she wanted to be with him so that she could offer moral support to him.
• "I don't think that will be necessary," Lucifer replied and she frowned. It was just like Lucifer to reject help when he was being offered.
• "I want to come. I can help to keep the conversation when you are tired. It will be perfect," Isabelle said and Lucifer sighed.
