Chapter 26
- Lucifer walked into the hospital and he could barely contain his rage, he knew he didn't have to solve this with anger but his men needed to know if he trusted them with something, then they better treat it right. This was not a time for them to make mistakes of any kind or be stupid with their jobs. He was paying them so much for them to be actively protecting him and everything he cared for, not an opportunity for them to be exceptionally stupid about the same job he assigned them to. He wasn't even gone for a whole day and a code red emergency happened right under their noses and they let it happen.
- He hate to imagine if it were to be a homicide or something worse than getting attacked in a public restaurant, what f she had been attacked right under their nose, what would have been the excuse, she was leaving home and nobody felt like it was important to trail her to the restaurant, even to book a table close to hers on discord, he would fucking pay. The knew too and yet they decided to be stupid with him. Maybe because he was being lenient with them or because he didn't t drum it tint their head enough, he would make an example out of Gabe and then they would know whoever he places under his protection was mad ass important to him and they dare not defy his orders.
- He got down from the vehicle before he looked around the hospital, he couldn't see anyone. Despite knowing how urgent this is, they still left her alone in the hospital, what if the crazy woman came back to end her life. He was really a joke to them and they would all bear the brunt of their stupidity, he wouldn't let them walk free for it. He would make sure they all begged for their life and when they walk out of that cellar alive, they would know Isabelle's life is worth more than what they think it's worth. He got tot he entrance and the usual smell of medicine hot him, it reminded him of why he would never come here of his own free will. He hate the hospital so much and he had no idea why anyone would chose to work in a place like this. Suffer all those years in med school only to be in place that reeks of antiseptic and death.
