Chapter 71

• Isabelle stayed with Lucifer as he slept, and came back to hold him in his sleep. Lucifer felt the wave of sleep lure him deep.
• He was a child again. He was with his mother and his sister Freda, he was with his father. He remembered that he loved his mother and his sister. He remembered that both mother and Fred had left for the market that day and he was left with his father a lot. After a while, a lot of men armed with guns had come to the house, and they had shot his father dead. Lucifer remembered the accident, he remembered feeling so scared in that moment, he remembered waking from that accident and not remembering anything. It was so scary. Lucifer struggled to come back to consciousness and he woke up with a scream in Isabelle's arms.
• "It is okay Lucifer, it was just a nightmare you will be fine," Isabelle said. She was rubbing his body. She was scared by the way he woke up, he was screaming so much that she felt his fear too.
