Chapter 33

• Isabelle suddenly turned around and starts to focus on counting the number of stripes on the wall, Lucifer sat there watching her, he knew he won't let her be unless they talk this out like proper adults, she snubbing him wasn't the proper solution and till she realized that, they would both sit in this irritating silence. If he was being candid, it was starrting to irritate him too but he was willing to go lower than her. He would wait till she was ready to talk and both of them would tak it out.
• “Now that ignoring you is practically impossible, please tell me why you actually what.” Isabelle asked with a sigh and Lucifer fought back his smile. He knew she would stop her dramas very soon but he didn’t know it would be this fast, he was yet to anything at all yet she was already tired. Maybe that was the Lucifer effect working on her, he thought she was immune like she use to act.
• “I’m glad we are finally on the same page. Trying to act like I’m not in this room would do nothing and I want us to talk, like actual adults. I’m not dealing with a teenager here and I feel like whatever this awkward thing is between us, we should address it. Let us clear up this air of confusion and get it past us.” Lucifer deadpanned and Isabelle rolled her eyes in mild anger. She had no idea why she was getting angry, especially when she wasn’t supposed to but she couldn’t help it.
