Chapter 67 - Luna Ceremony

• One week later…
• Today is the day of the Luna ceremony, everything is in place. Cassie, Daisy and Tara are dressed and awaiting the arrival of Felix Thorne, who will be walking Cassie down the aisle. Cassie's dress is a pale green, floor-length, chiffon gown with a cascade of pale yellow flowers across the skirt, her hair is pinned behind her left ear making it float down over her right shoulder, clearly showing the skin where Jack's mark will sit before today is over. Daisy and Tara are dressed in a mirroring effect of Cassie, they are wearing matching yellow tea length gowns that have pale green flowers across the skirts matched the design of Cassie's dress but reversing the colours, they also have their hair down, pinned to one side so it flows down over their left shoulder, again the opposite of Cassie. The men are all waiting under the dias that Daisy insisted they have constructed and that Tara decorated with yellow and green flowers like those on their dresses and had covered the whole thing with beautiful little butterfly shaped fairy lights that winked at the crowd from between flowers. The sky is alight with pastel colours as the sun sets behind the trees in front of which the ceremony will take place, and the fairy lights are glowing, casting an almost mystical glow over the area. Dr Thorne knocks on the door gently, indicating it is time for Cassie to make her entrance. Daisy kisses her cheek and whispers "you are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside, never forget that Cassie, you are worth everything'' and she steps forward and makes her way down the aisle which is covered with a spatter of colourful flower petals, Tara takes Cassie's hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze before following Daisy silently.
