Chapter 51 - One Week Later

• The next week flies by, I spend most of my time with Jack, closeted in his office where he works on the pile of paperwork he didn't get to while I was hospitalized. Daisy and I spend time in the suite I now share with Jack, doing typical girly things like playing with our hair and doing our nails. She has been teaching me different effects makeup can have, and we spend our time getting to know each other, and Jason takes me out for walks around the pack lands, we walked a different route each day to begin with, he says it is so I get to know the lay of the land, land which I still can't believe is technically mine as Luna. Now we tend to follow the path that leads us past the park as I love seeing the young pups playing. I have managed to piece together what happened at the mall that day from snippets each of them have let slip throughout the week and it makes me nervous to be outside but I refuse to hide in the shadows, I will not let fear rule me, I am to be Luna for goodness sake, I can't be an agoraphobe.
• Jack and I have continued to share a bed and have repeated that first night every night since, but he still won't take it further with me. He says he wants our first time to be special and I approve of his logic so I don't press the matter, but I want to mate with him so much it hurts. I think he is planning something since when he said he wanted it to be special there was a secretive glint in his eye and I know he has been closeted away with Daisy and Dave when Jason takes me outside. So far we have decided to keep knowledge our bond within our inner circle, we plan to announce it at a pack meeting being held this weekend, which will include us formally accepting each other as mates, but we are going to swear the pack to secrecy until my Luna ceremony which Jack suggested a while before having as we need to include Alphas and Lunas from other packs and Jack hasn't said why yet but I know it is because he doesn't want Ace to know yet. Jack is up to something.
