Chapter 24 - Watching Over Cassie

A week, that is how long it has been since she opened her eyes, a week in which all I have managed to do is the bare minimum of self care, I have managed to get my time spent showering down to 3 minutes, I eat in Cassies room, I sleep on a cot provided by the Alpha beside Cassie's bed. I can't bring myself to leave, not for training or for anything else, I'm desperate for her to open her eyes. I can't focus on anything other than her still form. Luna has visited, but I don't converse well at the moment, Dr Thorne pops in daily to check her vitals and even Alpha Sven stopped by for an update. She needs to wake up before I lose my mind. And when I think of Ace, and even of Maddie, I see red, I want to rip them limb from limb, I want them to suffer for all they inflicted upon her. My Cassie, the woman I love.
