Chapter 49

• Emma felt trapped inside her own body. No matter how hard she tried to escape, it was impossible. Her mind was engulfed in a nightmare she couldn't get out of.
• She had returned to Endora's cabin, Asher despised her, and the fire consumed her, but now the flames were devouring her body and she couldn't do anything to stop them. Every part of her burned; she felt her skin charring and her lips sealed.
• She couldn't scream or cry out for help. As she died, her companion watched her without saying a word. He awaited her death with a smile, repeating over and over that she was a witch and deserved such pain.
