Chapter 16

• Emma was quite comfortable; a pleasant warmth enveloped her and she felt the caress of a hand on her face. What had happened? Her head hurt and she felt so weak that she didn't want to open her eyes.
• She stirred in her bed, she couldn't remember if that uncomfortable mattress in her Pennsylvania cabin had ever felt as comfy as it did right now. Warm and protective would be the right words to describe it. Almost like a pair of strong arms wrapped around her.
• She didn't want to wake up for nothing, she was save at last. Her mother would call her at any moment to help her and she would have to give up that pleasant sensation that she was enjoying.
