Chapter 72 The Contract

• Isabella ends the call still scared but determined to do everything for her grandmother. She enters the living room, and her grandfather has already informed his wife everything, who shakes her head negatively. He looks at her with a serious expression. Isabella can tell that her grandmother does not agree that he should make this sacrifice just for her. So she approaches her and hugs and kisses her.
• "Mima, I'm doing it for me too!" she says, trying to convince her. "So it's not going to be the same, being divorced, as being a single mother! Also for the kids! You saw how happy they were when he told them he was their daddy!"
• "But, if you find yourself a good man, Bella, who wants to marry you? What are you going to do?" asks her grandmother in sign language, who doesn't like lies and much less the idea of deceiving her son with that.
