Chapter 32 Santiago Sardino Junior

• Sitting in his father's office, Santiago stares into the old man's eyes. His father holds his gaze silently. Santiago knows something has happened with his daughter, he knows it. Luis keeps calling to ask about Isabella. Eva is very nervous, taking secret calls that Santiago suspects are from his father. If Isabella hadn't come to Eva for help, she must have called her grandfather instead. But the old man clearly has no intention of telling Eva anything.
• "Aren't you going to tell me what's going on with Bella, Dad?" Santiago asks finally after their staring standoff.
• "What do you want me to tell you?" his father replies, glancing up from some paperwork. "She should be at school now."
