They leave for the hospital with Isabella, where she undergoes all sorts of tests. The doctor keeps her there for a day, along with them, because he wants to check on her pregnancy. When the gynaecologist arrives, Christian steps out, leaving only David with her. Although he said he would accept the pregnancy, it pains him deeply to know it's not his. However, David comes out and asks him to wait a moment. He sees him run off, returning shortly with a paper in his hands, and asks him to follow him to the consultation room, where they've finished examining Isabella, who still doesn't understand anything.
"Look at the results here, doctor. Tell me if I'm right," David asks, handing the paper with the test results to the gynaecologist, who begins to study them while asking Christian various questions, which he answers without understanding why.
This goes on for a while, with both doctors analysing not only the results of Christian's latest test but all the previous ones that Doctor David had brought with him. Christian watches them without understanding but remains silent as he listens to them debate until they finally agree and look at him with a smile. Isabella's gynaecologist smiles as he shows the results on his computer screen to Christian, who doesn't understand anything he sees.
