- Oswaldo tries to sit up better as he attempts to loosen the bindings on his hands without success. He shrugs, saying it's just a hunch he has, given where they are. He always knew, and everyone knows, that the Sardinos have many houses for this sort of thing. Eva looks at him and then turns her head around before replying.
- "I don't think it was them, because Santiago told me that the next time he saw me, he'd put a bullet between my eyes if I'd done anything to Isabella," she says with a glimmer of hope that it's not her ex. "Especially now that he knows I'm not her mother, I don't think anything would hold him back. If it had been him, he would have already shot me as I said."
- "You might be right. At least if it's other villains, we can negotiate with them because we have some money," Oswaldo replies, feeling a bit of hope within their desperate situation.
