Chapter 46 Mother

My only discomfort was sleep and because I had low hemoglobin, but with the good nutrition and care of my friend, plus Mrs Eugenia who moved to my house so as not to leave me alone, everything went very well. I was not forced to abandon my studies.
My grandparents had to return for my grandmother's operation. They hoped to be able to come back around the probable date that the gynecologist had given me. We were happy. Both Marta and I had finished our careers with excellent evaluations and obtained the position of assistant editors at the important Larousse publishing house.
