Chapter 71 Convincing Grandpa

• Isabella and Marta made their way to the garage where Grandpa was engrossed in his work, perpetually tending to the boat, as her grandmother often remarked, a task without end. He didn't notice their approach. Isabella reached out and tapped him on the shoulder, causing him to turn off the machine and remove his mask, looking at them with curiosity.
• No one needed to tell him anything; he was certain they had something on their minds to seek him out there, and it was likely something they didn't want his wife to overhear. Even if he didn't inquire, they'd spill it on their own, he surmised.
