• "No way." Was she fucking kidding her? "Name something else and I'll give it to you, but I'm not gonna tell Ethan to go on a date with you. He's a human being, Anna, not your personal plaything."
• "Oh, but he is," Anna hissed. "If you don't want to lose your job, you'll make sure he will take me out and show all those bitches at the office that not only can I get a date to the event, but I can get a man like Ethan."
