• Hey, Mr. Fred," Ethan said with a nod toward Josh. "Glad to see I'm not the only one in costume tonight."
• Josh bore a striking resemblance to Santa even on a regular day with his snowy white beard and generous belly. Tonight, he was dressed as Santa Claus, complete with hat and belt. It was as though Santa himself had paid the school a visit.
• "I'm jolly old Saint Nick," Josh replied. "And what exactly are you supposed to be, Mr. Thunder?"
