• "Oh fuck," he groaned, eyes widening in alarm. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck."
• "I'm on the pill," she reassured him, almost amused by his panicked expression. Ever since they met, she had been diligent about taking her pill, and she was confident about this. There was no way she would have an accidental pregnancy. "The chances of me getting pregnant are pretty slim. Still, I think it might be wise if I got tested."
• "Tested?" Ethan sighed, rolling onto his back. "Fucking hell, it's like I'm in my twenties again."
