Chapter 91 We Love Each Other
- I got out of bed ready to go to the bedroom where Mark and I slept together, but when I went to open the door of my bedroom, I stood for a moment with my hand on the handle, thinking whether to do it or not, since it was risky, but at this stage of my pregnancy and with my hormones in turmoil, I needed to feel the warmth of the only man I loved. So I opened the door of my bedroom and approached the bedroom where my husband was. I opened it and as I entered, I was surprised to see that he was still as awake as I was, as I saw him lift his head from the pillow.
- "What's wrong, Sofia? Are you okay?" he asked me in a low voice so as not to break the silence of the night.
- I slowly approached the bed, opened the sheets and lay down next to my husband, realizing in the dim light of the night, the surprise on Mark's face for what I had done. Mark embraced me in his arms, like that night at my friend Alice's house, holding me with pride, pulling me as close as he could to his body. I turned my head, locking eyes with him, feeling Mark's lips brush against mine, giving each other shy but sensual kisses, losing track of time that night as we kissed and caressed each other, without saying a single word. Although the night before I lay in the same bed as my husband, I couldn't give him a break, because I still felt hurt by him. I barely approached my husband, although I occasionally felt Mark's penetrating gaze making me tremble, even though I tried to remain indifferent to Mark, focusing more and giving all my time to my daughter Cintia. One morning we received a visit from Aaron and Alice, which delighted my little one, as her uncle Aaron was the apple of her eye. Alice and I went to the living room with my daughter, while Aaron and Mark stayed in the kitchen, each preparing a cup of coffee.
