Chapter 49 Working

• When the plane landed in the city of Miami and we exited the terminal, we took a taxi right at the airport entrance to go to the hotel where Alice had reserved two rooms for Liam and me. Once we entered the hotel lobby, Liam approached the reception to get the keys to our rooms, and a bellboy escorted us to the elevators. We went down to the fourth floor, where the bellboy opened the door to my room first, leaving my suitcase on a sofa. As I was about to open my suitcase to take out the clothes I would wear the next day, so they wouldn't wrinkle further, I heard a knock on the door. I approached and opened it, finding Liam on the other side.
• "Are we going to grab something to eat? I'm actually quite hungry," Liam said.
• "Alright, I'm also hungry. Just wait for me to grab my purse," I said, leaving the room door open.
