Chapter 62 After The Party

• After leaving our little girl's bedroom, Mark and I left our house, approaching his car. My husband opened the car door for me, helping me get in, then sat in the driver's seat and immediately started the car, driving us to Alice's house. When we arrived, my husband parked the car and we both got out, walking towards the entrance of the house. Mark took Mark's arm and we entered our friend's house, where she greeted us with a beautiful smile and hugged us both. As we entered, I noticed all the guests there, and my eyes met Liam's. He approached us with a smile on his lips as soon as he saw me and Mark.
• "Please, Mark, remember that we are at Alice's house," I said, noticing the serious expression on my husband's face as Liam approached us.
• "Good evening, Mr. Harris, may I say your wife looks beautiful," Liam said.
