Chapter 33 Completely In Love With Mark Harris

• When I returned to where Mark was with my daughter, his brother, and his fiancée, I noticed the way my husband was looking at me. I sat in the chair next to him, with my daughter on my lap. Mark was very quiet and frowning until his brother and fiancée left. That night, after my daughter had fallen asleep, I went to the bedroom while Mark stayed in the living room, having a glass of whiskey. I entered the bathroom to undress and shower. When I finished, I dried myself off and lay down on the bed without putting on my nightgown, as the night was too hot. A few minutes later, without turning on the bedroom light, I heard Mark come in, take off his shirt and pants, and lie down next to me in bed. I looked at him for a few seconds, seeing that he was lying on his back with one arm over his forehead.
