Chapter 67 A Night Alone
- A month had passed since Mark and I went to the clinic for them to remove the stitches from my belly, feeling as we left, that something more than just the stitches stayed at that clinic, my heart aching as I remembered that because of a tumor I never knew I had, I lost my baby of a few weeks. But as we were getting closer to where Mark parked the car, I took a deep breath, leaving my sorrow behind.
- One night after putting our little one to bed and telling her a story until she fell asleep, Mark and I went to the living room. We turned on the TV to watch a show, I sat on the couch while he went to the kitchen and came back with an open bottle of wine, placing two glasses on the table and pouring the cold wine into them. He handed one to me, then sat next to me on the couch. I rested my head on my husband's shoulder, his arm around me, pulling me close to his body as we watched TV. Suddenly, Mark took my chin with his fingers to make me look at him, leaning in to kiss me with desire and frenzy. He caressed my breasts over my clothes, increasing my excitement. I took off the dress I was wearing as his hands roamed my body, slipping his fingers inside my panties, caressing my sex while still kissing and licking my lips, our tongues playing together. Just as a wave of pleasure was about to make me explode, we heard the sound of Mark's phone ringing. He got up from the sofa to answer it, leaving me wet and tingling.
- "Who's calling you?" I asked, annoyed at being left in the way my husband had left me.
