• When I got out of Mark's car, I entered the building and headed towards the elevators to go up to the floor where Alice's office was located. As I stepped out of the elevator, I greeted her assistant and made my way to my desk. I hung my bag on a small hook and sat down in my chair. Almost an hour later, I saw the door to Alice's office open and Liam emerged with some documents in his hand, heading towards my desk.
• "Good morning Sofia, I just spoke with Alice, and she is very pleased with our performance with the Miami lawyers. At noon, when we go out for lunch, I'll treat you, we need to celebrate this," he said.
• "I'm glad that Alice liked our performance and is happy, but as for lunch, I'm sorry, I already have plans to eat with my husband. Perhaps another day we can celebrate with Alice as well," I said, watching Liam's expression change.
