- The flickering light from the candles drew attention to his face and chest, lending an ethereal quality to his whole look. As the color of his eyes deepened, I found that I was no longer startled by them. They were not furious since the darkening had been brought on by a strong sensation of emotion rather than by anger on their part. He moved closer to me and placed his hands on my face in a deliberate and methodical manner.
- Are you sure about that? He inquired, but just a barely perceptible hint of green was left behind. The weight of the air increased as I lifted my hands to clasp his wrists, and as a result, the connection between us became stronger.
