Chapter 49
- Megan's POV
- It would be an understatement to say that my whole existence has been dictated and governed by rules and directions. I don't follow orders; I provide them, and if someone doesn't follow them right, I correct them. I didn't belong here and I felt out of place.
- I was used to having to get up early, so it was nothing new to me. I was also used to being outside, but I recoiled as I caught a glimpse of the crowds of people. I felt really vulnerable because of how my shorts displayed my very light scars. But unlike the other ladies, I was sporting a sweatshirt rather than a tank top or simply a sports bra. As we left the room, Jason gave me a strange look, but he didn't ask me why I had done what I had.
