Chapter 9 The Only One
- I spent the rest of the day in my room as I was never allowed to leave. Sometime during the day, Doctor Murphy came in to give me the birth control shot, making it the only outside contact I had with anyone besides Paul.
- There was nothing left for me to do but sleep or stare at the ceiling. When supper was bought in, I enjoyed it by myself, inspecting the quality as a means to entertain myself, yet the boredom was getting to me.
- The worst part was that I was not even allowed a radio, there was no way of making out what day it was or even properly evaluating how long I had been here. Despite not being particularly busy and having no issues with food, a lingering sense of discomfort persisted at the back of my mind.
