Chapter 45 The Road To Kisqui
- Kisqui didn't rank among my preferred destinations, including the house we had to stay in. There were too many unhappy memories there. Turning to Paul, I expressed my discontent. “I don’t like my room in Kisqui. Any chance I could switch?”
- His reply was swift, “We shouldn’t be there for long, but if it truly bothers you, you could bunk in my room.”
- Contemplating the enticing offer, I confirmed, “Your room it is,” gazing out the window. As bags were packed and everyone prepared to leave, I silently bid farewell to the De Rosie House.
