Chapter 157 A Way Forward

  • I can attest that my fear of death had considerably lessened after enduring all that I had with Paul. While his threats held weight, he consistently failed to act on them by taking my life. It seemed his inclination was more towards punishment, and I was determined not to make it easy for him.
