• Paul never showed up for almost a month, my working hours in the lab had been changed and the relentless exhaustion weighed heavily on me, but it had a silver lining – it offered me solace in sleep, a temporary escape from my harsh reality.
• It was a small price to pay knowing that I was not being used for my body because of a deal that went wrong that was even my own doing.
