Chapter 64 Retrieve Her
- The streets were long and winding and not to mention dangerously quiet. It wasn’t a good idea for me to keep walking in the same direction with no turns. So, I diverted to the next street and kept walking in the same direction towards the outskirts.
- Yellow Snow Road stretched out before me, its name a stark contrast to the bleakness of my situation. As I walked, I caught sight of a bicycle leaning against a lamppost, abandoned like a forgotten memory. Every creak of the chain seemed to underscore the weight of my decision. Yet, the thought of wasting time moved me towards swift action.
