Chapter 30 Say Goodbye

• I believed Sam might be on his way, however, upon further consideration, it seemed a bit too early. At that point, my thoughts shifted to the fact that I had been unaware of Paul being Mr Ingram's son. It's possible he had known my identity all time and understood the dangers of holding me captive.
• We walked up the stairs and into the bedroom without me knowing it. It wasn’t until Paul pinned me to the bed, did I stop thinking and realised what was going on. I looked up to gaze at his sharp eyes.
• “You are not allowed to die unless I tell you to,” he said lowering his tone. I was momentarily lost thinking about how all this was his doing, yet now he was shifting the blame.
