• Mandy’s POV
• The door man must have known the Rossi last name, because his whole body gets tense, and he quickly ushers me inside. He scans his key card for me in the elevator allowing us access to the penthouse. When we exit the lift and get off on the top floor there is a small foyer area in front of a huge wooden door. I am about to knock, but before I can Don Mucci grabs the handle and opens it first. He then moves back a step pulling me along with him, and two of his men that escorted us up here walk in first. I can hear a lady’s voice from inside the apartment, but can’t make out what she is saying. I don’t try to go in, because the Don’s hand is tightly gripped around my arm. So, I couldn’t even if I wanted to. After a couple of minutes his men come back out giving us the all clear. The Don struts in followed by me then Igor. My first impression is WOW. The inside is just as the pictures shown. The open floor plan, only thing is it is a lot bigger than it looked. A short blonde-haired lady that is dressed in a long pencil skirt with a matching jacket strolls up to us. She holds out her hand to introduce herself. I’m the first one to make contact with her. “Hello, my name is Jane Walls the realtor of this listing. It is a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Rossi.” She shakes my hand then looks toward Don Mucci, and does the same to him. “Hello, Mr. Rossi it is so nice to meet you.” When those words come out of her mouth I freeze.
