• Being stopped by Matteo has me aggravated. He knows that I am in a hurry. Hell, he is the one who talked to his mother on the phone. So, why is he screaming my name making me stop, just to wait for him. I cross my arms and squint my eyes at the man I call my husband. He comes walking up to me like he has a purpose. Once he reaches me, he grabs ahold of my upper arm and squeezes it so hard that it feels like he could break it. I wince from the pain. I have to bite my tongue to keep me from lashing out at him. I stay quite and just wait for him to talk. “Why did you just storm out of there without first checking that it was ok with me? You saw me stand up when you did, so I know you knew that I was coming with you, so why did you leave?”
