• Matteo, his aunt, mother, and I sit in the living room of my apartment talking to each other for a little while. His aunt who insisted that I call her auntie, is awesome. Her and her sister are total opposite from each other. She is laid back and likes to joke and cut up. I peek over at mother who is smiling from ear to ear right now. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why either. It’s because Matteo is here with me. I hate that she will get heart broken when she finds out that nothing has changed between us. Disappointing her is the worst. I get mom’s attention and ask her, “can you watch baby girl while I take MJ and lay him down? Then I’ll come right back and get her once I am done.”
