• Mandy’s POV
• Sarah and I take a seat on the loveseat waiting for mother. I feel nervous about being around her by myself. I hope everything today goes as smooth as it did last night. We’re not left by ourselves very long, before mother walks in, and she is followed by two maids. All three of them are carrying books and papers in their hands. Instead of coming over to where Sarah and are sitting they amble their way over to the conference desk that is positioned in the middle of the study. I quickly get up to my feet and waltz over to greet mother.
