• If dying meant being away from him, I was already dead since I met him. It was surprising to see him again and I would have never imagined, after drifting apart, that we would end up like this; dancing under garlands and Christmas decorations in a giant house located in a private neighborhood.
• Money was everywhere, expensive dresses, suits, watches, and cell phones. It was impossible for me to understand how I had ended up there after days without eating and hours without sleeping.
• I felt lucky.
