• Years later, Theo turned out to be a terrible child when he turned nine. He went to school, one of the best in France. He knew from a young age that his parents lived far away and couldn't take him with them. He knew he had an older sister who didn't know of his existence. He knew Hanna was his nanny along with Paul, her husband.
• Hanna tried to have her own child, but she never could, so they decided to adopt Zack, a child with Asian features. Theo and Zack got along very well, they knew how to play like brothers because that's how they saw each other and they didn't usually fight. The age difference was quite significant, they were five years apart.
• Theo loved Hanna, Paul, and Zack... but he never fully understood why his parents had to be away from him or only receive visits that lasted one or two weeks and then had to return to the town.
