I didn't know why their absence and disrespect towards her, because the whole town was there, leaving their flowers and roses on the unreal coffin where she lay. I received condolences that I either didn't hear or didn't pay attention to because my eyes were fixed on the shiny mahogany wood with a golden crucifix.
