Chapter 14

• My heart was beating uncontrollably, afraid that he might feel it too. His body radiated an abnormal but exciting heat that instantly stuck to mine.
• His fingers tangled in my hair, kissing all over my face and I imitated him, trying to satisfy each other's thirst. It was a moment I wished would last forever. His lips were sending me into a trance from which I was sure I would never emerge, while the music played in the background, a distant but faithful companion.
• My vision blurred, allowing me to be guided by my senses. Before I knew it, he had taken me to his room and carefully laid me on his bed with fine sheets that sent shivers down my spine.
