• "Typical Rose, manipulating people until she gets what she wants," I thought out loud. "I slapped her because she deserved it after insulting my mother. The term 'bitch' is not frowned upon nowadays, but the way she said it was an insult that pushed me over the edge. I offered her a roof, but all she did as soon as she entered my apartment was act like an ungrateful bug."
