Chapter 7

  • Present day,
  • After Mara found out that Victoria took “her man” she went ballistic but she wanted to hurt her very slowly before killing her. Her plan was to kill all her loved one before she could kill her Christian was an exception of course. Mara decided to cook out of the blue one day, she poisoned Helena who was unsuspecting, this let her to start coughing blood and instead of taking her to the hospital they kept her at the house.
  • Though Greg didn’t know what happened he listened to Mara when she advised him against taking Helena to the hospital, reason being it was a waste of money they already don’t have. She called Victoria and told her that her mother was dying, but she could help her if Victoria left Christian and disappeared with her bastard’s children.
  • Victoria thoughts it was a joke but when she called Greg he told her a different story, he wanted fifty million dollars or she will never see her mother. Victoria thought she could handle everything by herself, she just got married not long ago her grandfather in law was had still not recovered so she didn’t want to involve them in her family problems.
  • As soon as she reached the house there were two burley men waiting for her , she knew right then that this was a trap, What Victoria didn’t know was that this wasn’t just a trap but they left her mother to die. Mara found two thugs and paid them a Hundred thousand with the promise to pay another hundred thousand after they rape and kill Victoria.
  • But she didn’t just want them to kill her, she wanted these men to take pictures and videos while they were taking turns raping her. She wanted her to die after she saw those men raping and mutilating her two children while she was watching.
  • The two men took Victoria to an abandoned hospital, they wanted to open her up while she was alive, though Mara didn’t order them to do so, they wanted to make extra money by selling off her valuable organs. Mara was very happy at their wild imaginations.
  • As long as they hurt Victoria and end up killing her she was very happy, even if she didn’t die she her little very well, she would end up killing herself. After taking her to the hospital and trying her on an old patient bed they waited for more instructions from Mara.
  • The plan was to kidnap her children and torture them while she was watching and them killing them . Mara had to tell them exactly how they were going to capture the children since they hadn’t gone to kindergarten yet.
  • She came to the hospital to gloat, she showed Victoria a picture of her mother’s lifeless body. Victoria was at a loss for word, she didn’t understand how Mara could treat someone who raised her like that. How ruthless can someone be. “ does dad know what you did to mom? Or was it something you both planned ” she asked Mara.
  • Mara started laughing hysterically, and t said “ you know my dad really loved your mom, but how can I let that woman into our house when he may have possibly killed my mother? And your useless mother brought you too, what a joke. ”
  • “ I made sure the little love that was left between your mother and my father was gone, I even made my father kicks you out of the house four years ago. And yes my father knows that your mother is dead, he would always be on my side” she added.
  • Victoria could not believe how a human being can be so cruel have such a twisted mind, she wondered what exactly happened to Mara in the past for her to be like this.
  • She begged and begged but Mara was clearly crazy, she had reached a point of no return, she wasn't listening to anything Victoria said or promised, all she could do was wait for Mara to bring her kids and kill them in front of her. She was hoping that Christian would realise she was missing, the problem was that she lied about where she was going, she didn't even let the driver that was assigned to her take her to the Underwood home.
  • She was praying that the kids would be protected and not let out of the house, but she lost all hope as soon as she heard Mara talking over the phone with someone. She was instructing the person to take the kids to the park and she will take it from there. She realised that Mara had someone working for her at the Chadwick residence. How could not know someone was working for Mara? One of the servants named Beth was always at odds with her, even when Victoria tried by all means to get along with her.
  • She felt like she had failed as a mother because she couldn't protect her children.
  • She only hoped that she would have a chance to convince thugs to let her go when Mara goes out. And as soon as Mara left Victoria prayed and begged the thugs to let her go, she promised to give the two million after learning how much Mara promised them. She knew Christian would notice somet6was wrong as soon as the money left the account.
  • Eventually they agreed when she about to give , and let her have her cellphone to make a transfer, she had promised them one million first and the other million when they bring Mara to the hospital in her place. And to prevent her from kidnapping her children . She asked for the account number and transferred one million to that account.
  • This alerted Christian immediately.
