Chapter 10

  • Victoria asked one of the family drivers to drop her off at the airport, I wasn’t because she didn’t want Christian to take her there, she just didn’t think she would be capable to say goodbye to home , or even be able to part with him. At this point she hated Mara with everything she had, she told herself over and over again that she was not going to let her get away with what she put her through. No one messes with her kids. She could let her off if she just wanted Christian but threatening to harm her kids and and going as far as kidnapping them was out of line . On top of it all she killed her mother, the only relative she had left.
  • To think she had contemplated giving Mara a chance, for them to be sisters. She thought there was still some dignity and humanity left in Mara she was clearly wrong, and she blamed herself because she her gut down thinking her older sister was a human being. She had no tears left after all the sobbing she did the entire day. All she prayed for was her children’s safety and for Mara not to go back on her word.
  • When she arrived at the airport she suspected she was being followed, she went to the rest room just to be sure she wasn’t wrong . True to her suspicions she saw a man following her to the bathroom, the same man she had been seeing since she arrived at the airport. She was immediately on high alert.
