• Serena wanted to disappear and start over somewhere, where no one knew her and the shame she had of not being able to protect her own child and not being able to have children, but who would want her, a woman who couldn’t built a family of her own. She had no idea how Ethan felt at the moment, was he at feeling guilty, after all he had a hand in her predicament. But so what if he felt guilty or even sorry for her? How long would that last? Would he stay with her only because he pitied her?
• She had so many questions that were left without answers because she couldn’t face Ethan and his mother. She believed everything Victoria told her about the duo but she was still not ready to deal with, she did not want to see the pity on their eyes. Ethan hadn’t even said anything to her, she knew he was shocked but from that look she knew that it was probably over between them. Sure, their baby was not planned but the excitement was written all over his face when he found out.
• Even though Serena wanted to run away as soon as she was discharged from the hospital, couldn’t do that to Vicky they had already lost so much time while she was away, so she decided on the spot that she would stay for her and the children and she was hoping Vicky would allow her to recuperate at her house.
