When Mara found her back who only went by the name Mr M, she knew he was powerful, she targeted him and he fell for it. What she wasn’t aware of was how powerful Christian was. Even though he was never in the public eye, he ruled their country even underground gangs belonged to him.
She thought Mr M was dangerous but she has no idea how dangerous and powerful Christian was. They both had no idea who they were dealing with, and Mr M decided to face Christian and Victoria head on. He was tired of being in the shadows, he wanted to spend his time in peace with Mara as he was promised that after all was done they will soon get married.
They both made a way to set up an appointment with Christian and Victoria. As much as she wanted to go Christian didn’t allow her, he didn’t want to risk her life again. He needed to meet the couple before he can be sure it was safe. They finally met and Christian couldn’t believe his eyes.
