Chapter 52

• It wasn’t long before Grace and Serena were rescued by Ethan’s men, but it was not allowed good news since Serena had to be rushed to the hospital where she found out that she had lost her baby. All of this happened while Ethan was still trying to sort out the mess that is Elaine. He had no idea Serena was in danger.
• Though Serena was kicked and slapped around, Elaine didn’t end up ruining her face since she thought she still had time to deal with her. At the hospital, she heavily sedated after finding out she had lost her baby, she couldn’t take the news well, even Grace was scared that she might hurt herself. While watching her sleep she swore she was going to take good care of her, she regretted everything she did to get rid of her. She realised that Serena was a good girl, she just didn’t let anyone mess with her and that included her mother in law. Grace understood her, because she was also horrible to Serena.
• Ethan learnt over the phone that Serena lost the baby, he didn’t know what to do and chose not to go to the hospital yet, he was ashamed, Victoria and Christian warned him, but he never thought Elaine could be so cruel. How could she kidnap a pregnant woman? And his mother loved her so much but she still used her to get to Serena. He kept thinking he wouldn’t be man enough if he didn’t just end Elaine and her thug.
