• It took months for Luke to warm up to Christian, this also let Victoria’s decision not to rush into marriage like they did the first. She understood they were too excited to finally get reunited. She did love Christian and she realised everyday spent with him that she was falling in love with him even more .
• After Victoria returned Christian agreed with his grandparents that they had to stay at his mansion instead of staying at the Chadwick residence. They were not certain who was to be trusted after Beth betrayed them. The old man was getting better and could talk, though he was always insisting they get married as soon as possible.
• Victoria asked him to recover first so he can walk her down the isle since she had no father after cutting ties with Greg. She heard he had been in hospital unconscious after fainting the day Mara disappeared. No one knew why he wasn’t conscious yet because nothing seemed to be wrong with him. No one visited him and the hospital management were getting tired of his stay there, since they didn’t know if he could even afford his piling hospital bills.
